I went to a dance party on a cruise once, and I am totally new to this culture in US.Never did it in my home country.So I observed as follows: Many girls would come and want to dance with their backs sticking on to my front and moving to the tune in sideways fashion.I could barely dance as I have no experience dancing with someone stuck on me.Also I would not lay my hands anywhere on her body(which I guess those girls were expecting) ,and kept them in the air most of the times,the only time was where I held on the shoulders.What is this type of dance supposed to be, and how do I handle that the next time it happens?I ain’t scared to be dancing like that, but I donot want to be disrespecting any woman by laying my hand off at the wrong places.Please suggest me especially people who do the clubbing quiet often.
